A Purple Bliss Wedding

This wedding took place Friday August 6th 2010 at the Purple Orchid in Livermore, Ca. The wedding was filled with guests of a hundred and forty four and the venue was decorated with beautiful purple hues and touches of olive branches. It was a pleasure to work with the wedding party during their rehearsal and on the big day! Watching how they enjoyed every moment sharing tears of joy and laughter was pure bliss!

I then was introduced to her fabulous photography work and have been following ever since. Now here's a little about Kia....
My name is Kia Gregory and I am a wedding photographer based in the Central Valley. I love my job. Every time I arrive to capture an excited bride getting ready, or see the groom with that look of anticipation on his face it gives me chills. You would think that capturing those same moments' all the time would be boring but it's not. Because they are not the same. Every wedding is different. Every couple is different. Every moment is different. My wall is littered with photographs from my wedding day, the birth of my children, family vacations, milestone's in my girl's lives. Every time I look at one of those photos I can remember a joke from that day. The moment before or after that precise moment was captured. I can feel the emotion in those images. I love the emotions those photos give me. That is what my job is to me. I am passionate about providing my clients with lasting memories. I am passionate about knowing that my clients trust me to do just that. I am still available for wedding dates in 2010 so let's meet for coffee soon!

A Wedding At Purple Orchid

I was so excited when I was offered to help assist this event at the Purple Orchid in Livermore, Ca. It started on Thursday evening when my manager Catherine Neufeld and I met the wedding party for the dinner rehearsal. It was a delight to help show everyone how they should walk down the aisle and position themselves at the alter. The wedding party looked relaxed and comfortable with the rehearsal after a few run throughs from begging to end. Then the big day came Saturday July 31st 2010 and everyone was working away to bring this beautiful wedding together. Tables were getting set, flowers were being placed and all the guest finally gathering together to enjoy this gorgeous occasion. I was just amazed on how it all turned out in the end.
