A Morracan Themed 50th Birthday Party

I had the pleasure to help out a client plan her mom's 50Th birthday party. She wanted a colorful and bright spirited feel to the party just like her mom's personality. She also wanted to incorporate elephants since those were her mom's favorite animal. We came to a conclusion that a Moroccan theme atmosphere would be the perfect fit for what she was looking for. I couldn't wait to get started with booking appointments for our cake tasting, rentals, and anything else we had to book to make sure this party turned out beautifully. Before you know it the time was near when we to do our final venue walk through, set up a table dress rehearsal and go over all the last details. The evening was filled with a delicious food, wonderful entertainment and tons of memories I am sure no one will forget. It's was fun working with all the vendors to bring this special day together and know that my client, her mom along with their family and friends had a great time!

Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk

On Saturday October 22nd my family and I participated in the making strides breast cancer walk held at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It was wonderful to support everyone that has battled or is battling breast cancer. My grandma is a survivor of breast cancer and was so nice to have her waiting for us at the finish line! Even though this walk was focused on breast cancer I also wanted to do this 5mile walk in honor of my other grandma that had passed from pancreatic cancer, a special friend that is battling cancer at this time and other special love ones that have battled this disease. This was my first event that I participated in and hope to do many more to help a cause. Also arranging an event like this would be awesome and hope to have that opportunity in the near future!

Ready, Set Go!!!

My cousin and grandma that are breast cancer surviors.

Water stop.

With my cousin and aunt.

The route took us by the ocean. Very beautiful!

It was a wonderful day!

Oktoberfest 2011

So this was my second year of participating in the Oktoberfest held at St Paul's church and Bella Vista Academy where my son attends pre-school. Last year I was in charge of organizing and setting up the pre-school game booth for the kids carnival. This year I was a vendor along with my friend promoting each of our businesses while selling some event accessories and decor. My friend is starting a business called Shabby Queen Designs and can custom different rustic decor designs to fit your next holiday party or any upcoming event. I look forward to working with her in the future to custom designs for my clients needs and if anyone is interested in any of her halloween designs below please contact me. Thank you!
