A Blog Update At Last

Well it seems I cannot keep up my blog posts with everything going on these days, but can't complain since I love to stay busy. I have some events coming up that I am excited about and now I also support some businesses with their arrangements. So put that together with being a mom of a five year old that is playing sports and filling my other roll as a wife, you can now see why I cannot find much time to blog. I am happy that I can at least post some quick inspiration pictures and features for you all to view on my Facebook page. I think it might be time to look for an intern soon that may want to take over my blog and help with some of my tasks in return of experience. I will be keeping a look out! Savvy Chic Event's One Year Anniversary!

Well..... This passed January made a year since I launched Savvy Chic Events and excited to see what 2012 has in store for me! 2011 was a year filled with meeting great event industry vendors to work with, attending some fabulous networking events and most exciting of all having the pleasure to arrange some wonderful events of my own. From baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays parties, wine tours, business openings and networking events. It's been a pleasure to execute my clients visions and goals and I get a total adrenaline high on doing so. Seeing them thrilled about the outcome of their event brings me so much joy! I would love to thank everyone I have worked with, for all my family, friends and fans that support my passion everyday. I might be a little late in planning a one year anniversary event for Savvy Chic, but then again it is never too late to celebrate accomplishments, so that being said please stay tune for what I will have in store......... A Morracan Themed 50th Birthday Party

I had the pleasure to help out a client plan her mom's 50Th birthday party. She wanted a colorful and bright spirited feel to the party just like her mom's personality. She also wanted to incorporate elephants since those were her mom's favorite animal. We came to a conclusion that a Moroccan theme atmosphere would be the perfect fit for what she was looking for. I couldn't wait to get started with booking appointments for our cake tasting, rentals, and anything else we had to book to make sure this party turned out beautifully. Before you know it the time was near when we to do our final venue walk through, set up a table dress rehearsal and go over all the last details. The evening was filled with a delicious food, wonderful entertainment and tons of memories I am sure no one will forget. It's was fun working with all the vendors to bring this special day together and know that my client, her mom along with their family and friends had a great time!
