Wedding Cupcakes Vs Wedding Cake?

It looks like that cupcakes have been a big trend these days for all different occasions and I have been seeing them displayed at weddings in place of the traditional wedding cake. Cupcakes can have that sophisticated cuteness to them while the tiered cake can have that traditional elegance. For my wedding I went with a tiered white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, but I think when I renew my vows in the future I will go for the cute Savvy Chic cupcakes this time around or maybe have a little of both? What do you prefer?

Until We Meet Again Grandma

I want to dedicate this blog to my dearest grandma that went to be in paradise on Friday July 16Th at 8:15am. My mom said that she waited until the sun came up that morning to take her final breath and head out to that vacation where there is no more suffering. My grandma was a strong and healthy woman that was then diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which took over. She loved a good party and was the life of it. She taught me alot of what I know and who I have become. I know that she would want me to move on and put my full heart and soul into my passion of becoming an event planner. I will miss her dearly, but know that we will meet again for the greatest event in heaven. Until then I will be looking up to the sky and winking at her. I love you grandma!

I Will Cheers To That!

Detail view of two toasting champagne glasses

Well I complete my first school unit with an A+ and one step closer to becoming an Event Planner. I am excited to see what the rest of the course will teach me and how I will grow to become the business woman I have always wanted to be so until then....... cheers!

Pass The Cake Please!

I love cake and there is nothing better then attending a wedding or an event and having that slice of beautiful scrumptious cake. Why does it do something magical to us as we take that bite and savor it? Red velvet cake seems to be popular and I can see why. There is a distinctive color and taste that sets it apart from the others, but pass me a slice of any flavor cake and I will be in heaven!
